So, it's been awhile since I've read the New Adult genre. I don't relate well to this genre. I was married by 21 and starting my family. I was in college when I got pregnant, much like the heroine CC in this book. However, that doesn't happen until the end.

In some ways, reading this book, I felt like I was back in high school or even young again when people are so wrapped up in themselves. I don't mean any disrespect when I say that, but when a person is 18 years old, we still feel like things revolve around if.

CC has a boyfriend, even though she's always loved another guy--her brothers' best friend Hunter. Hunter loves her too, but won't be with her because she has one brother named Mason who I just wanted to smack the crap out of. He was so against CC and Hunter, yet he was fooling around with CC's best friend Hailey. 

See...DRAMA. LOL, maybe I shouldn't mention that another brother of CC's was hooking up with Hunter's sister. 

This story was a roller coaster, but I hopped on for the ride and really enjoyed it. Sometimes it's fun to get sucked into a story and I felt like I was watching a reality show with this one. I can't wait to carry on with this series and see where I go next.
